If this is you, thanks for dropping by! As a former property manager, inactive real estate agent, and marketing expert, I know a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t.
And let me tell you, Carrot works. I’ll show you how below. But first, what the heck is Carrot?
A real estate professional just like you founded Investor Carrot, now known as Carrot, in Roseburg, Oregon. They use their experience to bring you high-converting websites.
They invested in rental properties in college and then learned the ins and outs of internet marketing in the process.
Over time, they began to build real estate websites that helped them generate leads and grow their business. Through Investor Carrot, they’re passing on all they learned to you.
In fact, they claim that in the past five years, they’ve helped investors and agents generate over 2 million leads.
Investor Carrot offers a website or a network of websites that generate specific leads for your real estate brand.

Invest Carrot’s Best Features
So, what do you get out of a website built for you by Investor Carrot? A lot! Read on to learn about our favorite features and how they benefit your business.
A Familiar Platform
Their websites use the familiar platform WordPress, which is very easy to use even if you don’t know that much about how to run a website. Their websites don’t utilize the full range of WordPress capabilities.
This is because it uses an adapted version specifically designed for real estate investors. Most people who use Investor Carrot websites praise their ease of use, which has a lot to do with the WordPress platform.
Custom Content
You also get pre-written, customizable content for use on your site. This helps to make your website look authentic, and it also helps with rankings in Google, which in turn helps to drive traffic to your website and generate leads.
There are a couple of ways you can customize the content on your Investor Carrot website. First, you can alter the pre-written content in whatever way you want, reworking it to make it a little more unique.
Second, Investor Carrot automatically uses your target area’s phone number and business address throughout the content, making it easier for potential leads to find you.
A Collection of Contact Forms
Investor Carrot also provides contact forms for your website.
Each is placed strategically on the site to help convert various types of potential clients into sales.
After filling out an initial form, clients are then led to a more in-depth form.
This can help you identify serious sellers before you even talk to them.
You are also provided with a third-party tool to help you manage contacts, and it can be combined with other CMS systems that you may already use, such as:
- MailChimp
- Zoho CRM
- Podio
- iContact
- Zapier
- Constant Contact
- Aweber
Downloadable Guides
Investor Carrot provides downloadable guides that can help drive even more traffic to your website.
Guides such as “5 Ways to Avoid Foreclosure” and “Dealing with an Investor: The Pros and Cons” are available to sellers.
All they need to do is provide their information to get the guides, putting them directly in your sales pipeline.

You can display the houses you currently have under contract to buyers with this feature. You don’t have to create your own template for it and it’s an easy way to get more website traffic.

Website Appearance
One of the downsides you may find with Investor Carrot is that your website will probably look a lot like the other real estate websites out there.
They do provide a lot of customizable options that allow you to do things such as add pictures, change the position of fonts, and change colors.
but they only provide you with four different themes to choose from, so the website may not be as unique as you’d like.
However, a little customization goes a long way. You can customize your sites with unique:
- Colors
- Logos
- Icons
- Buttons
- Hero sections
- Images
- Page layouts
- Credibility bars
- Testimonials
- About pages
- Badges
- Page content
A couple of other things that you’ll get with an Investor Carrot website are a site that is easy to integrate with your social media platforms and a site that is mobile responsive.
You can rest assured that however your potential clients are viewing you’re site, they’re getting the best experience possible.

Real Carrot User Review
You can tell a lot about a product by what real users are saying. There are a lot of positives to be found about Investor Carrot from real estate professionals that use it.
Just do a simple Google search and see for yourself. Here are a few real-world user reviews that we found on the web:
- Jasmine G. says, “I have a website through Investor Carrot and it’s been a great experience. You must really discipline yourself to be patient with results, but the training makes it easy to get the most out of your site.”
- Scott C. says, “Websites take a lot of effort, especially if you want to get ranked highly in search results. Companies like Investor Carrot really help you get a leg up. I’ve had three Investor Carrot websites running over the last several months, and I’ve been pulling 30+ leads a month from them.”
Gerald with House Flipping Guide made a great rundown on the product and highlighted his journey from a standard website to the “2019 standard,” which is Investor Carrot.
What he liked:
- He saw results after focusing on long-tail keywords
- Video guides made a significant impact with Investor Carrot’s video guides
- It’s easy to build landing pages around specific geographic areas
What he didn’t like:
- Gerald did not list any downsides to the property. Granted, he’s trying to get you to buy the service. But we do see a couple downsides and list them in our own opinion below.
Our Two Cents
We think that Investor Carrot is a great platform for investors who do not want to spend time developing their own website. While the website templates are beautiful, there is one downside.
Search engines like Google take duplicate content into account, and the pre-written content that comes standard with these templates is likely to appear on nearly every other Investor Carrot website.
While this is not a major problem if you are promoting your company using online ads, if you’re trying to optimize your site using SEO, you may be hit with a penalty because of this duplicate content.
However, you can easily avoid this by incorporating your own content into the mix. Either way, you’ll want to focus on writing hyper-local content for your own market, so this shouldn’t be a major concern.
