What Is HomeJab?
HomeJab is a real estate photography and videography company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company is run by cousins Joe Jesuele and Chris Jesuele, who come from a long line of real estate investors and home builders.
They offer a range of quick-turnaround services for agents. These range from basic photo packages to full luxury photo and video shoots, both on ground and with drones.
SoldByAir reports that 83% of home sellers say they prefer an agent who uses drones to capture aerial pictures and videos. In fact, MLS found that listings that included aerial images sold 68% faster than homes with only photos.
Most media files are delivered within 24 hours of the shoot. A nationwide media service provider like HomeJab can be an important part of a realtor’s marketing plan.
Especially as technology moves faster than most agents can adopt it. The National Association of Realtors found that “48 percent of all [real estate] firms cited keeping up with technology as one of the biggest challenges facing their firm in the next two years.”
Let’s look at the different services HomeJab.com offers, their pricing and plan options, and a few important things to consider before signing up.
HomeJab Services
HomeJab offers 5 different services for real estate agents and FSBO sellers that bring attention to listings and help potential buyers get an up-close look at the property they’re considering.

Choose from a video walk-through, HDR photography, aerial (drone) videos, 3D virtual tours, and 360 interactive videos. You can also bundle these services together for a special deal (see Pricing below).
Video Walk-Through
Real estate videos have become an integral part of MLS listings. The National Association of Realtors reports that 73% of homeowners said they’re more likely to list their property with an agent who uses video.
Unfortunately, the same study found that only 9% of real estate agents use video in listings. That’s a missed opportunity! HomeJab sends a professional videographer to the home.
When there, they capture seamless video footage of the interior using steadicam technology for that “floating” effect that catches the eye. They offer Standard Definition and High Definition videos. Additionally, each video purchase includes a free property website.
HDR Photography

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. This simply blends and layers 3 shots of the same image together to create an image that is closest to the way the human eye views it in person.
HDR photos are known for vibrant, bold colors and crisp, clear details. Dynamic range is what photographers call the scale that goes from the darkest dark to the lightest light able to be captured in an image.
High Dynamic Range (HDR), then, enables you to capture more of that range in a single photo by fusing the light/dark ranges of 3 separate photos. Essentially, this allows you to show the brightest highlights and the darkest contrasts, all in one image.
HomeJab’s HDR photography service enables agents to show the most visually striking, aesthetically pleasing views of their properties with anywhere from 15-30 images per property.
In addition to providing high-quality photography from an experienced photographer, this service also includes a free property website.
Aerial Photography and Videos
Most listings contain photos, some contain videos, and even fewer utilize aerial photography. If you want your listings to stand out and grab the attention of potential buyers, aerial photos and videos could be the way to do it.
It’s hard to ignore that 83% of sellers want to work with an agent who uses drones to capture aerial images and videos. The MLS finding that aerial images help homes sell 68% faster is important for agents and sellers alike.
HomeJab’s aerial photography and aerial videography services allow you to show interested parties the full exterior of any property from a bird’s eye view with the help of a drone and licensed drone pilot. This service also includes a free property website.
3D Virtual Tours
Photos, videos, and aerial imagery are essential parts of the listing toolkit, but 3D tours can take things to the next level. 3D virtual tours let potential buyers take a full, immersive tour of the home without ever stepping foot inside.
That’s thanks to special 3D scanning technology that maps out the entire home in three dimensions instead of two. Buyers can take a walk through the home at their own pace at a time convenient for them, which can increase the amount of interest in your listing.
HomeJab notes that “All HomeJab 3D tours are compatible on web, mobile and virtual reality headsets.” They offer standalone 3D virtual tours, or 3D tours in conjunction with any of their other services. They quote prices for homes up to 4,000 square feet.
360 Interactive Video
While not quite as innovative as the 3D virtual tour, 360 interactive video is an excellent way to give users the opportunity to take a look around the home in more detail than photos or standard videos can provide.
Unlike 3D tours, 360 interactive videos don’t allow the user to truly “walk” or move through the home. However, interactive motion effects, like Google Maps’ zoom or whoosh effect (when you click the arrow to move the image) can be used to usher a user into the next room’s 360 video and provide a similar effect.
HomeJab offers attention-grabbing 360 interactive videos and includes professional photos and a free property website with the order.

General Information
In addition to providing flexible pricing options and an array of packages, HomeJab makes it easy to select ancillary features that complement your services. And you can bet they’ve thought of all the details. Below are some of our favorites.

Virtual Dusk
Virtual dusk photos are included with each of the luxury packages, but what are they? A virtual dusk photo is an HDR photo taken at any time during the day, then edited to make it appear like it’s dusk or twilight in the finished photo.
They do this by making adjustments like changing the color of the sky and making it look like interior and exterior lights are on. These photos look more dramatic and are intended to be used as the main listing image. One virtual dusk photo is included with each luxury package.
Licensed Drone Pilots
Drone pilots have to be licensed and exempted by the FAA in order to legally take aerial videos and photos using drones. You don’t want to hire someone to shoot aerial footage illegally!
HomeJab works with licensed drone pilots and has received a 333 exemption from the Federal Aviation Administration. This lets them legally fly drones on a commercial basis in the real estate industry.
Turnaround Time
HomeJab is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm EST. Orders received (along with the scheduled date and time) within those hours are generally confirmed on the same business day.
After the shoot, HomeJab team members upload and edit your photos and videos before delivering them to you within 24 hours. HomeJab’s How It Works page adds: “Each type of package differs slightly in length of completion time, but none are over 2 hours long. Every package falls in a 1 to 2 hour range.”
Agent Presence at Shoot
HomeJab can complete your photo or video shoot with or without you being present. As long as the photographer and/or videographer have the means to enter the home (lock box code), they’ll arrive on location, shoot the images, and return the key to the lock box when done.
You can add the lock box code to the “Additional information” section during sign up. If you’re only having aerial photos or videos done from the exterior, you don’t need to provide any lock box information.
Luxury vs Standard Packages
Every HomeJab photo and video appears to be high-quality. Although, there is a marked difference between their luxury and standard packages.
The standard packages include professional photos with 1 exposure each and Standard Definition videos. If you’re looking for photos and videos that look good for an affordable rate, the standard packages are likely your best options.
The luxury packages include HDR photos (3 exposures merged into 1 photo for highest quality) and High Definition videos. If you’re selling luxury properties, are in a high-competition market, or have a larger budget to work with, the luxury packages will best suit your interests.
Cities Currently Serviced
HomeJab currently serves a handful of cities. Though, these are limited to large metropolitan areas. Regardless, if you live in a big city, you’re probably covered. Click the button below to find out whether your city is included.

Overall
4.7User Review
( votes)I’ve hired real estate photographers. And in my experience, I found that it’s very frustrating trying to find a reliable vendor who will deliver your photos in a timely manner.
I wish I’d have known about HomeJab when I was managing properties, because I’d have saved a great deal of time. If you’re searching for a real estate photographer, this platform will reduce the time you’ll spend searching for a vendor.
From 3D virtual tours that let potential buyers wander through the home in virtual reality to eye-catching aerial footage, HomeJab can help agents become more innovative by using cutting-edge technology in their listing media.
The basic packages are very affordable, while the luxury packages reflect their quality in the increased cost. And because you don’t have to be present during the video or photo shoot, HomeJab enables agents to spend more time selling homes and less time snapping pictures on an iPhone.
